Do not harshly blame the elderly, as long as advise them to be like fathers. Encourage young people to be like brothers.

Encourage elderly women to be like mothers. Advise young women to be like sisters. Always keep it clean and tidy.

Respect those who are truly widows.

If a widow has children or grandchildren, let them first learn filial piety in their own homes and repay their kindness, for this is acceptable before God.

Those who live alone and are truly widows rely on God, constantly praying and praying day and night.

But the widow who indulges in feasts also dies while she is still alive.

You must instruct them on these matters so that they are blameless.

If a person does not take care of their relatives, it is a betrayal of the true way, and it is even worse than someone who does not believe. Not caring about one’s own family is even more so.

The widow is recorded in the booklet and must be at the age of sixty, never being the wife of only one husband,

And he has a reputation for doing good, just like raising children, receiving distant people, washing the feet of saints, relieving those in need, and striving to do all kinds of good deeds.

As for the young widow, you can dismiss her. Because their desires are aroused, when they go against Christ, they want to get married.

They were convicted because they had abandoned their original wish.

And they are also accustomed to laziness and wandering around from house to house. Not only lazy, but also gossiping, meddling, and saying inappropriate things.

So I am willing for young widows to marry, have children, manage household chores, and not give the enemy the leverage to insult them.

Because some have already turned to follow Satan.

If a woman who believes in the Lord has widows in her home, she should help them herself and not burden the church, so that the church can help those who are truly untrustworthy.

The elders who are good at managing the church should be considered worthy of double worship. Those who work hard to preach and guide should be even more so.

Because it is said in the scripture that when a cow kicks the grain on the field, it should not trap its mouth. It is also said that workers are entitled to their wages.

Do not accept a complaint against the elders unless there are two or three witnesses.

Criminals should be rebuked in front of everyone, so that others may also fear.

I charge you in the presence of God and Christ Jesus, and the chosen angels, to keep these words without prejudice or partiality in your actions.

Do not rush to give a hand press to someone. Do not share in the sins of others. Keep yourself clean.

Due to your unclear appetite and repeated illness, do not drink water as usual. You can use a little alcohol instead.

Some people’s sins are obvious, just like going to trial first. Some people’s sins are followed afterwards.

In this way, good deeds also have obvious consequences. That is not obvious and cannot be hidden.
