If a person wants to obtain a supervisory position, they envy good work. This statement is credible.

As a supervisor, one must be blameless, the husband of only one woman, restrained, self disciplined, and upright. Willing to receive distant people and skilled in teaching.

Do not cause trouble due to alcohol, do not hit people, only be gentle, do not compete, and do not be greedy for money.

If a person does not know how to manage their own home, how can they take care of God’s church?

Newcomers should not be supervised, as they may become arrogant and fall into the punishment of the devil.

Supervision must also have a good reputation outside of the church, afraid of being slandered and falling into the trap of the devil.

The same goes for deacons, they must be dignified, not one mouthed or two tongued, not fond of drinking alcohol, and not greedy for unjust wealth.

Keep a clean conscience and guard the mysteries of the true way.

These people also need to undergo experiments first. If there is nothing to blame, then call them deacons.

The same goes for a female deacon, who must be dignified, not slanderous, restrained, and faithful in all things.

A deacon only needs to be the husband of a woman, managing her children and her own home well.

For those who are good deacons themselves attain a good state, and have great courage in the truth in Christ Jesus.
