Romans_Chapter 2

No matter who you are, you cannot shirk responsibility for judging people. In whatever matter you judge people, you condemn yourself. Because of your judgment on others, your own actions are the same as those of others.

We know that God will judge those who do so according to the truth.

O man, do you think you can escape God’s judgment when you judge those who do such things, but your own actions are like others?

Or do you despise his rich kindness, tolerance, and patience, unaware that his kindness leads you to repentance?

You have allowed your stubborn and unrepentant heart to accumulate anger for yourself, so that God will be angry and the day of his righteous judgment will come.

He will repay everyone according to their actions.

Those who persistently do good and seek glory and honor, as well as immortality, will repay them with eternal life.

Only those who form cliques and do not obey the truth, but instead obey unrighteousness, will repay them with anger and indignation.

Add affliction and hardship to all evildoers, first Jews and then Greeks.

But he added glory, honor, and peace to all those who do good, first Jews, and then Greeks.

Because God does not favor people.

Anyone who commits a sin without the law will not perish according to the law. Anyone who commits a crime under the law will also be judged according to the law,

For in the presence of God, it is not those who hear the law that are justified, but those who practice the law that are justified.

If the Gentiles who have no law follow their nature and do things according to the law, even though they have no law, they themselves are their own law.

This demonstrates the function of the law engraved in their hearts, and their hearts bear witness to right and wrong, and their thoughts compete with each other, whether they think it is right or wrong

On the day when God judges secret things through Jesus Christ, according to the words of my gospel.

You are called a Jew, relying on the law and boasting about God.

Having received teaching from the law, I know the will of God, and I am able to discern right from wrong

And firmly believing that he is the guide of the blind, the light of those in darkness,

He is a master of fools, a teacher of children, and a model of knowledge and truth in the law.

Are you teaching others and not teaching yourself? You said people cannot steal, do you still steal yourself?

Do you say that people should not commit adultery, and do you still commit adultery yourself? Do you hate idols and still steal things from the temple?

Do you boast about the law, but have you violated it and defiled God?

The name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles, as it is written in the scriptures, because of you.

If you practice circumcision according to the law, it will certainly benefit you. If someone violates the law, your circumcision is considered uncircumcised.

So if the uncircumcised abide by the laws, will they not be considered circumcised, even though they have not been circumcised?

And if those who were originally uncircumcised can fully abide by the law, will they not judge you, who have written rites and circumcision but break the law?

Because those who are Jews outside are not true Jews, and circumcision of the flesh outside is also not true circumcision.

Only what is done inside is true Jewish. True circumcision is also in the heart, caring about the spirit, not about the ritual. This person’s praise does not come from humans, but from God.
