There are tall walls. There are twelve doors, and there are twelve angels on them. The names of the twelve tribes of Israel were written on the door.
There are three gates to the east. There are three gates to the north. There are three gates to the south. There are three gates to the west.
The city wall has twelve foundations, on which are the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.
The one who spoke to me took a golden reed as a ruler to measure the city and its gates and walls.
The city is square in length and width. The angel measured the city with a reed, and it was four thousand miles in total. The length, width, and height are all the same.
He also measured the city wall, which was one hundred and forty-four cubits according to the size of a man, the size of an angel.
The wall is made of jade. The city is made of pure gold, like clear glass.
The foundation of the city wall is decorated with various gemstones. The first foundation is jade. The second is sapphire. The third is green agate. The fourth is emerald.
The fifth is red agate. The sixth is ruby. The seventh one is Huang Bixi. The eighth is Shuicang jade. The ninth is the Red Bi Xi. The tenth is jade. The eleventh is purple agate. The twelfth is amethyst.
Twelve doors are twelve pearls. Each door is a pearl. The streets in the city are made of pure gold, like transparent glass.
I have not seen any temple in the city, because the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of the city.
That city doesn’t require sunlight or moonlight. Because the glory of God shines upon us. And there are lambs as the lamps of the city.
The nations shall walk in the light of the city. The kings of the earth will return their glory to that city.
The city gate never closes during the day. There used to be no night there.
People will return the glory and honor of the nations to that city.
No one who is unclean, nor those who do detestable and false things, shall enter that city. Only those whose names are written in the Lamb’s Life Book will be included.
