psalm_Chapter 147
Praise the Lord, for praising our God is good and beautiful. Praise is appropriate.
The Lord built Jerusalem and gathered the scattered people in Israel.
He healed the heartbroken and wrapped up their wounds.
He counted the number of constellations and named them one by one.
Our Lord is great and most capable. His wisdom is immeasurable.
The Lord supports the humble and overthrows the wicked to the ground.
Sing to the Lord with gratitude, and sing to our God with the harp.
He covers the sky with clouds, rains for the earth, and makes grass grow on the mountains.
He gave food to beasts and crowing little crows.
He doesn’t like the strength of a horse or the fast legs of a lover.
The Lord loves those who fear him and hope for his mercy.
Praise the Lord, O Jerusalem. Praise your God, O Zion.
Because he has strengthened your door bolts and blessed your children among you.
He makes your territory safe. Use good wheat to satisfy you.
He was fated on the ground. His words are spoken the fastest.
He snows like wool, sprinkles frost like furnace ash.
He threw hail like debris. He emits cold, who can afford it?
As soon as he gives the order, all of this is digested. He stirred the wind and water flowed.
He showed his way to Jacob, and his laws and judgments to Israel.
He has never been like this in any other country. As for his laws, they have never known. Praise the Lord.
