psalm_Chapter 33
O righteous, rejoice in the Lord. Praise from an upright person is appropriate.
Give thanks to the Lord with the harp, and sing praises to him with the ten stringed harp.
We should sing a new song to him, playing it skillfully and with a loud voice.
Because the word of the Lord is upright. Everything he does is honest.
He loves benevolence, righteousness, and fairness. The earth is filled with the merciful love of the Lord.
The heavens were made by the command of the Lord, and all phenomena were made by the breath of his mouth.
He gathers seawater like a fortress, collecting the deep ocean in the warehouse.
May all the earth fear the Lord. May all the inhabitants of the world fear him.
Because he said there was, there was. Once the mandate is established, it will be established.
The Lord has made the plans of the nations come to nothing, and the thoughts of the people have no effect.
The longevity of the Lord is established forever, and the longing in his heart endures for generations.
Blessed is the kingdom that regards the Lord as God. Blessed is the people whom he has chosen as his inheritance.
The Lord looks from heaven. He sees all the world.
From his dwelling place, look out to all the inhabitants of the earth.
He is the one who creates the hearts of all of them and pays attention to all their actions.
A king cannot win by having many soldiers. Warriors cannot be saved by their strength.
It is in vain to be saved by horses. Horses cannot save people just because of their strength.
The eyes of the Lord are on those who fear him and those who look up to his mercy,
To save their lives from death and keep them alive in famine.
Our hearts have always waited for the Lord. He is our help, our shield.
Our hearts will rejoice in him, for we have always trusted in his holy name.
O Lord, grant us mercy according to our hope in you.
