psalm_Chapter 44
O God, we have heard with our own ears what you did in the days of our ancestors in ancient times, and our ancestors have also told us.
You used your hands to drive out the Gentiles, but you cultivated our ancestors. You mistreated the nations, but made our ancestors prosper.
Because they did not win the land with their own swords, nor did they win with their own arms. But it is through your right hand, your arm, and the light on your face, because you rejoice in them.
O God, you are my king. Give me a decree that Jacob may triumph.
We rely on you to push down our enemies. By your name, trample on those who attack us.
For I will not rely on my bow, nor will my sword bring me victory.
But you have saved us from the enemy, making those who hate us ashamed.
We will glory in God all day long, and we will forever give thanks to your name. (Fine pull)
But now you have abandoned us, causing us shame and not going with our army.
You made us turn and retreat towards the enemy. The person who hates us snatches at will.
You have made us like sheep about to be eaten, dispersing us among the nations.
You sold your people without making any profit. The value gained does not add to your wealth.
You have caused us to be humiliated by our neighbors, ridiculed and ridiculed by those around us.
You have made us a laughingstock among the nations, causing all the people to shake their heads at us.
My humiliation is always in front of me. The shame on my face covers me up.
Because of the voice of those who insult and slander, and because of the enemy and the avenger.
This is all happening to us. We have not forgotten you. I didn’t violate your promise either.
Our hearts have not retreated, and our feet have not deviated from your path.
You crushed us in the wilderness and covered us with the shade of death.
If we forget the name of God or raise our hands to other gods,
Will not God examine this matter? Because he knows the secrets of human hearts.
We are killed all day long for your sake, and people see us as sheep about to be slaughtered.
Lord, please wake up, why do you all sleep? Rise up, do not abandon us forever.
Why do you hide your face, disregarding our suffering and oppression.
Our lives lie in the dust. Our belly is tightly pressed against the ground.
Please rise up and help us, redeem us with your mercy.
