psalm_Chapter 30

David wrote this poem while offering the temple. O Lord, I will honor you, because you have elevated me and did not let your enemies boast about me.

O Lord my God, I cried to you, and you healed me.

O Lord, you have rescued my soul from the underworld, so that I may live and not go down to the pit.

Sing praises to the Lord, O holy people of the Lord, and praise his holy name that is to be remembered.

Because his anger is only fleeting. His grace lasts for a lifetime. Although there may be tears throughout the night, they will cheer in the morning.

As for me, everything goes smoothly, so I say, I will never waver.

O Lord, you have shown kindness, making my rivers and mountains stable. You covered your face, and I was panicked.

O Lord, I have called upon you. I plead with the Lord, saying,

What is the benefit of me being killed and bleeding, and going down to the pit? How can dust praise you and proclaim your honesty?

Lord, please answer me and have mercy on me. O Lord, help me.

You have turned my sorrow into dance, taken off my linen clothes, and draped me with joy.

So that my spirit may sing praises to you, and not cease to speak. O Lord my God, I will give thanks to you forever.
