The sun is like a groom leaving his bridal chamber, and like a brave warrior running joyfully on his way.
He came out from the sky and went around to the sky. Nothing can hide his heat.
The law of the Lord is complete and can awaken the heart. The law of the Lord is determined to give wisdom to fools.
The precepts of the Lord are upright and can bring joy to the heart. The command of the Lord is clean and can brighten the eyes of men.
The word of the Lord is pure and endures forever. The laws of the Lord are true and completely righteous.
All are more enviable than gold, and even more enviable than a lot of refined gold. Sweeter than honey, and sweeter than the honey dripping from the hive.
Moreover, your servant is therefore guarded. By guarding these, there will be great rewards.
Who can know their mistakes? May you forgive me for my hidden faults.
Please stop your servant from committing any reckless act. Do not let this crime rule me. I am completely exempt from committing major crimes.
May the words of my mouth and the thoughts of my heart be accepted before you, O Lord my rock and my redeemer.
