psalm_Chapter 80
Listen carefully, O Shepherd of Israel, who leads Joseph like a flock. O you who sit on the two cherubim, let out light.
Show your strength in front of Ephraim, Benjamin, and Manasseh to save us.
O God, restore us, let your face shine, and we will be saved.
O Lord God of hosts, how long will you be angry with the prayers of your people?
You feed them with tears, and give them more tears to drink.
You have caused our neighbors to divide over us. Our enemies tease each other.
O God of hosts, turn us around, let your face shine, and we will be saved.
Take out a vine from Egypt, drive out the Gentiles, and plant it.
You prepared a place in front of this tree root, and it took deep roots and crawled all over the ground.
His shadow covered the mountains, and his branches were like beautiful cedars.
He sprouted branches, grew to the sea, sprouted vines, and extended to the river.
Why did you demolish the fence of this tree and let all passersby pick it.
The wild boars that come out of the forest trample on him, and the wild beasts use him as food.
O God of hosts, turn and look down from heaven, and visit this vine,
Protect the branches planted in your right hand and the ones you have strengthened for yourself.
This tree has been burned by fire and cut down by knives, and they have perished because of the anger on your face.
May your hand support the person on your right, the Son of Man whom you have strengthened for yourself.
In this way, we will not step back and leave you. Please save us, we will call on your name.
O Lord God of hosts, turn us back, let your face shine, and we will be saved.
