The Lord spoke to Moses, saying,

Tell Aaron that when he lights the lamps, all seven lamps will shine towards the front of the lampstand.

Aaron did so. He lit the lamp on the lampstand, causing it to shine forward, as the Lord commanded Moses.

The method of making this lamp stand is to hammer it out with gold, even the base and flowers are hammered out. Moses made the lampstand according to the pattern instructed by the Lord.

The Lord spoke to Moses, saying,

Choose the Levites from among the Israelites and purify them.

To purify them, do this: sprinkle the water of sin on them, and make them shave their whole bodies, wash their clothes, and purify themselves.

Then ask them to take a young bull and offer a grain offering of fine flour mixed with oil. You need to take another bull calf as a sin offering.

Bring the Levites to the Tent of Meeting and gather all the congregation of Israel.

Bring the Levites before the Lord, and the Israelites shall lay their hands on their heads.

Aaron also brought them before the Lord as a wave offering for the Israelites, to make it easier for them to do the Lord’s work.

The Levites shall lay their hands on the heads of the two oxen. You shall offer one as a sin offering and the other as a burnt offering to the Lord, to make atonement for the Levites.

You shall also make the Levites stand before Aaron and his sons, and offer them as a wave offering to the Lord.

So you will separate the Levites from the Israelites, and the Levites will belong to me.

Afterwards, the Levites shall go in to do the work of the tabernacle of meeting, and you shall purify them and offer them as a wave offering.

Because they were completely given to me from among the Israelites, and I have chosen them to be mine in place of all the firstborn among the Israelites.

All the firstborn among the Israelites, both humans and livestock, are mine. On the day I killed all the firstborn in Egypt, I consecrated them to me.

I have chosen Levites to replace all the firstborn among the Israelites.

I will give the Levites as a reward to Aaron and his sons from the Israelites, to serve the Israelites at the Tent of Meeting, and to make atonement for them, so that they may not come near the holy place and any calamity may come upon them.

Moses, Aaron, and all the Israelites did this to the Levites. And all that the Lord commanded Moses of the Levites, the Israelites did to them.

So the Levites purified themselves and washed their clothes, removing sin. Aaron presented them as a wave offering before the Lord and made atonement for them, purifying them.

Then the Levites went in and served in the tent of meeting before Aaron and his sons. As the Lord commanded Moses about the Levites, so the Israelites did to them.

The Lord spoke to Moses, saying,

The Levites are like this: from twenty five years old and above, they will come to serve and serve at the tabernacle of the meeting.

At the age of fifty, he will stop working and retire from his post, no longer doing anything,

But as long as they serve together with their brothers in the tabernacle of the meeting, they will keep their orders and no longer do anything. As for what you have commanded the Levites, do this to them.
