After Moses finished setting up the tabernacle, he anointed it and made it holy. He also anointed its utensils, the altar, and the utensils on it, making it holy.

On that day, all the leaders of Israel, including the heads of their families, came to offer. They are the leaders of various tribes, managing those who are numbered.

They brought their offerings before the Lord, which were six covered carts and twelve bulls. Every two leaders offer a car, and every leader offers a cow. They presented all of these to the tabernacle.

The Lord spoke to Moses, saying,

Take these things, that they may be used for the tabernacle of the meeting, and give them to the Levites according to their work.

So Moses took the chariot and ox and handed them over to the Levites,

Hand over two carts and four oxen to the descendants of Gershon as they have done,

And he gave four chariots and eight oxen to the children of Merari, as they had done. They were all under the command of Ithamar, the son of Aaron the priest.

But neither the chariot nor the ox were handed over to the descendants of Koha. Because they are handling the affairs of the sanctuary, carrying sacred objects on their shoulders.

The Lord said to Moses, “For the dedication of the altar, one leader must come every day to offer an offering.”.

On the day of anointing the altar, the leaders of Israel offered twelve silver plates, twelve silver bowls, and twelve gold bowls for the offering of the altar.

Each plate weighs 130 shekels, and each bowl weighs 70 shekels. The silver of all the vessels, according to the shekel of the sanctuary, was a total of 2400 shekels.

Twelve golden spoons filled with incense, weighing ten shekels each according to the sheaf of the sanctuary, and all the gold was one hundred and twenty shekels.

There were twelve bulls, twelve rams, twelve male lambs a year old, and twelve male goats offered as a sin offering along with the grain offering.

There were a total of twenty-four bulls, sixty rams, sixty goats, and sixty male lambs a year old for the peace offering. This is what is offered after anointing the altar to perform the ritual of offering the altar.

When Moses entered the tabernacle of the congregation to speak to the Lord, he heard a voice speaking to him between the two cherubim above the mercy seat of the Testament, that is, the Lord speaking to him.
