psalm_Chapter 139
O Lord, you have examined me and known me.
I sit down, I get up, you both know. You know my thoughts from afar.
I walk, I lie down, you observe carefully, and you know everything I do.
O Lord, there is not a word on my tongue that you do not know.
You surround me in front and behind, pressing your hand on me.
This kind of knowledge is wonderful and beyond my ability to measure. The highest is beyond my reach.
I will go there to avoid your spirit. I’ll run there to avoid your face.
If I ascend to heaven, where are you. If I stay in the underworld, you are also there.
If I spread my wings of the morning and fly to the ends of the sea to live.
Even there, your hand will guide me, and your right hand will support me.
If I say, darkness will surely cover me, and the light around me will become darkness.
Darkness cannot obscure me from seeing, but the night shines like the day. Darkness and light are the same to you.
My lungs are made by you. I am in my mother’s womb, and you have covered me.
I will give thanks to you, for I have been created with wonder and awe. Your actions are wonderful, and this is what my heart knows deeply.
I was created in the dark, connected in the depths of the earth. At that time, my form was not hidden from you.
My unformed physique is already visible to your eyes. You have written in your book all the days that you have set for me, before I have spent a single day.
God, how precious your thoughts are to me. How numerous are they.
If I count, there will be more than sea sand. When I wake up, I am still with you.
God, you will surely slaughter the wicked. So, you bleeding people, leave me.
Because they speak ill of you. Your enemies also falsely claim your name.
O Lord, will I not hate those who hate you? Don’t I hate those who attack you?
I strongly hate them and regard them as enemies.
God, examine me, know my thoughts, test me, and know my thoughts.
See if there is any evil within me, guide me on the path of eternal life.
