Proverbs_Chapter 21

The king’s heart is in the hand of the Lord, like water flowing freely in a valley.

All that a man does is right in his own eyes, but the Lord measures the heart.

To do benevolence, righteousness, and fairness is more pleasing to the Lord than offering sacrifices.

The wicked are developed, with high eyes and a proud heart. This is sin. (Developed as a lamp in the original text)

Those who seek wealth with deceitful tongues are those who take their own death. The wealth obtained is like floating clouds blowing back and forth.

The violence of the wicked will sweep them away. Because they refuse to act fairly.

The path of a guilty person is very winding. As for a pure person, his actions are upright.

I would rather live in the corner of the roof than in a spacious house with a quarreling woman.

The heart of the wicked delights in misfortune. He has no mercy on his neighbors.

The mocker receives punishment, and the foolish receive wisdom. Wise people receive instruction and gain knowledge.

The righteous consider the house of the wicked, knowing that the wicked will fall and perish.

Those who refuse to listen to the plea of the poor will not be answered in the future.

A gift given in secret to redeem anger. A bribe carried in one’s arms to appease anger.

To do justice and righteousness, to make the righteous rejoice, and to corrupt the workers of iniquity.

Those who are lost in the path of understanding will dwell in the meeting of the ghosts.

Those who love banquets will inevitably lead to poverty. Those who love good wine and oil will not be rich.

The wicked have made a ransom for the righteous. Fraudulent people replace upright people.

It is better to live in the wilderness than to live with a woman who quarrels and angers.

A wise household accumulates treasures and oils. Fools swallow it as they please.

Those who pursue righteousness and kindness find life, righteousness, and honor.

The wise climb up the walls of the warriors, overturning the fortresses on which they rely.

Those who guard their mouth and tongue will keep themselves from disaster.

A person with a proud and arrogant heart is called a mocker. He acted arrogantly, all out of pride.

The wish of a lazy person is to kill him because his hands refuse to work.

There are those who are insatiable all day long, but the righteous give without hesitation.

The sacrifice of the wicked is detestable, how much less does he offer it with malice?

Those who bear false witness will perish, but those who hear the truth will have their words forever.

The face of the wicked is shameless, but the upright act steadfastly.

No one can resist the Lord with wisdom, understanding, or strategy.

Horses are prepared for the day of war. Victory is in the Lord.
