Proverbs_Chapter 12
Those who love discipline are those who love knowledge. Those who hate and blame are actually animals.
A good person will receive the grace of the Lord. The Lord will surely punish those who devise deceit.
People cannot stand firm by evil deeds. The root of a righteous person will not be shaken.
A virtuous woman is the crown of her husband. A shameful woman is like rotting in her husband’s bones.
The longing of righteous people is fair. The scheme of the wicked is deceit.
The words of the wicked are like the blood of an ambush. The mouth of the upright will deliver and save.
The wicked overturn and return to nothingness. The house of a righteous person will be able to stand.
People will be praised according to their own wisdom. Those who are twisted in their hearts will be despised.
Being despised by others but having servants is better than self-esteem, lacking food.
A righteous man cares for the lives of his livestock. The pity of the wicked is also cruel.
Those who cultivate their own fields must have plenty to eat. Those who follow vanity are ignorant.
Evil people want to trap bad people. The roots of the righteous are strengthened.
The faults spoken by the wicked are their own traps. But the righteous will be free from trouble.
The fruit that comes from one’s mouth will fill one with good fortune. What human hands do will be their own retribution.
The actions of fools are considered upright in their own eyes. Only wise people are willing to listen to advice.
The anger of a foolish person is immediately revealed. A wise person can endure humiliation and hide shame.
He who speaks the truth reveals righteousness. Those who bear false testimony show deceit.
Talking impetuously, like a knife stabbing someone. The tongue of the wise is a good medicine for healing.
Speak the truth and stand firm forever. The tongue tells lies, only for a moment.
Those who plan evil will harbor deceit in their hearts. Those who advise others to be harmonious will find joy.
The righteous do not suffer from disasters, while the wicked are full of them.
A lying mouth is detested by the Lord. He is pleased with those who act honestly.
A knowledgeable person hides knowledge. The heart of a foolish person reveals foolishness.
The hand of a diligent person will surely hold power. Lazy people will endure hardship.
Worry in the heart, bending but not stretching. A good word brings joy to the heart.
A righteous person guides his neighbors. The way of the wicked makes one lose consciousness.
Lazy people don’t grill what they get from hunting. A diligent person gains valuable wealth.
There is life in the path of righteousness. There was no death along the way.
