I wailed for help. He hinders my prayer from reaching its peak.

He blocked my path with chiseled stones. He made my path bend.

He lurks before me like a bear, like a lion in secret.

He turned me away from the right path, tore me apart, and made me desolate.

He arched me as a target.

He shot the arrow from his quiver into my heart.

I have become a joke to the people. They use me as their song all day long.

He fills me with pain, filling me with wormwood.

He broke my teeth with sand and stones, and blinded me with dust.

You keep me away from peace, I forget the benefits.

I said, my power has declined. I have no hope with the Lord.

Remember me, O Lord, as the wormwood and the gall of bitterness, in my affliction and distress.

I miss these things in my heart, and I feel sad inside.

When I think of this, I have hope in my heart.

We are not destroyed because of all the mercy of the Lord. It is because his mercy is unbreakable.

Every morning, this is new. Your honesty is extremely broad.

I said in my heart, The Lord is my portion, therefore I will look up to him.

Whoever waits for the Lord and seeks him in their hearts, the Lord will show kindness to them.

It is good for people to look up to the Lord and wait silently for his salvation.

It is good for a person to be yoked in childhood.

He shall sit alone and be speechless, for this is what the Lord has imposed on him.

He immediately sticks to the dust or has hope.

He should be slapped on the cheek, full of humiliation.

For the Lord will not forever abandon man.

People trample the imprisoned in the world under their feet,

They cut off my life in prison and threw a stone at me.

O Lord, I call upon your name from the deep prison.

You once heard my voice. I beg for your help, don’t cover your ears and not listen.

On the day when I cry to you, you approach me and say, Do not be afraid.

Lord, you have vindicated me. You redeemed my life.

Look, they sit down and rise up, and I am their song.

O Lord, according to the work of their hands, do unto them retribution.

Make their hearts hard, let your curse come upon them.

Go after them in anger, and destroy them from under the heaven of the Lord.
