Isaiah_Chapter 2
Isaiah, the son of Amoz, received a vision concerning Judah and Jerusalem.
In the last days, the mountain of the temple of the Lord will be established above all the mountains and elevated above all the mountains. All the people will flow back to this mountain.
Many nations will come, saying, Come, let us ascend the mountain of the Lord. Go to the temple of God Jacob. The Lord will teach us His way, and we will walk in His way. For the law shall come from Zion, and the word of the Lord shall come from Jerusalem.
He will judge among the nations and determine right from wrong for many nations. They want to turn knives into plowshares and guns into sickles. This country will not raise its sword to attack that country, and they will no longer learn warfare.
Come, O Jacob’s house, let us walk in the light of the Lord.
Lord, you have abandoned your people the house of Jacob because they are full of the customs of the East, they are prophets like the Philistines, and they clap their hands with the Gentiles.
Their kingdom is full of gold and silver, and their treasures are endless. Their land is full of horses, and their chariots are countless.
Their land is filled with idols. They kneel down and worship what their hands have made, which is what their fingers have made.
The humble kneel, the noble kneel. So they cannot be forgiven.
Go into the rock, hide in the soil, and avoid the fear of the Lord and his majestic glory.
On that day, those with haughty eyes will be humbled, and those with arrogant temperament will bow their knees. Only the Lord is revered.
There will be a day when the Lord Almighty will punish those who are proud and arrogant, and all those who hold themselves high will be brought low.
And upon the tall cedar trees of Lebanon, and upon the oak trees of Bashan.
And upon all the steep mountains.
Facing the high platform and sturdy city walls.
And upon the ships of Tarshish, and upon all the lovely beauty.
The proud will bend their knees, and the arrogant will bow down. On that day, only the Lord was honored.
Idols will be completely abandoned
When the Lord rises up and causes the earth to tremble greatly, people will enter caves and burrows to avoid the fear of the Lord and his majestic glory.
On that day, people will cast their golden and silver idols made for worship to the field mice and bats.
When the Lord rises up and causes the earth to tremble greatly, it is good for people to enter the cave of the rock and the cave of the rock, to avoid the fear of the Lord and the glory of his majesty.
Do not rely on the world, for there is only breath in their nostrils. What is he in everything?
