Book of Ezekiel_Chapter 29

On the twelfth day of the tenth month in the tenth year, the word of the Lord came to me, saying,

Son of man, prophesy to Pharaoh king of Egypt and attack him and all the land of Egypt,

Thus says the Lord GOD, O Pharaoh king of Egypt, I am against you, a great fish lying in your own river. You once said, this river is mine, I made it for myself.

I, the Lord, will hook your cheeks with hooks and make the fish in the rivers cling to your scales. I will pull you and all the fish that cling to your scales out of the rivers,

Throw you and the fish in the river into the wilderness. You will fall in the field and not be collected or buried. I have given you to the beasts on the ground and birds in the air as food.

All the inhabitants of Egypt know that I am the Lord, because I have become a reed rod to the house of Israel.

Therefore thus says the Lord GOD, I will bring a sword upon you, cutting off man and beast from among you.
