On the tenth day of the tenth month in the ninth year, the word of the Lord came to me again, saying,

Son of man, today is the day when the king of Babylon approaches Jerusalem. Write down this diary,

To this rebellious house I will make a parable, saying, Thus says the Lord GOD: Put the pot on the fire, set it up, and pour water into it.

Gather the chunks of meat, all the plump pieces of meat, legs, and shoulders, and fill the pot with beautiful bones.

Take the best among the sheep, pile the firewood under the pot and bring it to a boil, so that the bones can be cooked in it.

Thus says the Lord GOD, Woe. This bloody city is like a rusty pot. The rust has not been removed from it, so the pieces of meat must be taken out one by one from it, and there is no need to cast lots for it.

The blood flowing from the city shall be poured out on a pristine rock, not on the ground; it shall be covered with earth.

The blood that flows out of this city is poured on a pristine rock, which cannot be covered up, but it is from me, to be avenged in anger.

Therefore thus says the Lord GOD, Woe. I will also pile up a pile of matches in this bloody city,

Add firewood, keep the fire burning, cook the meat until tender, thicken the soup, and scorch the bones.

Empty the pot and sit it on a charcoal fire, causing it to heat up, turning the copper red, melting the impurities inside, and removing the rust from it.

This pot is tired and tired, and the rust it grows still hasn’t been removed. This rust cannot be removed even by fire.

In your filth there is lewdness; I cleanse you, but you are unclean. Your filth can no longer be cleansed, until my anger against you subsides.

I, the Lord, will surely do what I have said, will do as I have said, will not return, will not spare, and will not regret. People will judge you according to your actions and actions. This is what the Lord Jehovah has said.

The word of the Lord came to me again, saying,

Son of man, I will suddenly take away the pleasure of your eyes, but you shall not mourn or cry, nor shed tears,

Only sigh, not speak, not attend to funerals. Wrap your head in a headscarf, wear shoes on your feet, do not cover your lips, and do not eat mourning food.

So I told the people this in the morning, and in the evening my wife died. The next morning, I followed the instructions.

The people asked me, “What does your behavior have to do with us? Will you not tell us?”?

I answered them, and the word of the Lord came to me, saying,

Tell the house of Israel, thus says the Lord GOD: I will make my holy place, which your power boasts, your eyes love, and your hearts cherish, desecrated, and your children will fall by the sword.

At that time, you will do what my servants have done, not covering your lips or eating the food of mourning.

You still need to wrap your headscarves around your heads and wear shoes on your feet. Do not mourn or cry. You will sigh and gradually perish because of your sins.

Ezekiel will be a sign for you like this. Whatever he does, you will do the same. When that thing comes, you will know that I am the Lord Jehovah.

Son of man, I have removed the glory in which they trusted and rejoiced, and the children whom their eyes loved and their hearts valued.

Will not those who escaped on that day come to you and make you hear of this?

You will speak to those who have escaped, and will no longer be silent. You will be a sign for them, and they will know that I am the Lord.
