psalm_Chapter 109

O God, whom I praise, do not remain silent.

For the mouth of the wicked and the mouth of the deceitful have opened up against me. They spoke to me with lying tongues.

They surround me, speak words of resentment, and attack me without reason.

They are enemies of me to repay my love. But I focused on praying.

They repay me evil for good, and hate for love.

May you appoint an evil man to rule over him, and appoint an adversary to stand on his right side.

When he is tried, may he come out to bear the blame. May his prayers turn into sin.

May his days be short. May others take his place.

May his children be orphans, and his wife be widows.

May his children wander and beg for food, coming out of their desolate places to seek food.

May the violent creditor cage everything he has. May outsiders snatch what he has earned from his labor.

May no one extend kindness to him. May no one pity his orphan.

May his descendants be cut off, his name be smeared and not passed down to the next generation.

May the sins of his ancestors be remembered by the Lord. May his mother’s sins not be smeared.

May these sins remain before the Lord, so that his name may be cut off from the world.

Because he does not want to show kindness, but he persecutes the poor and needy, as well as the heartbroken, to put them to death.

He loves to curse, and curses come upon him. He doesn’t like happiness, so happiness stays away from him.

He dressed himself in curses. This curse is like water entering him, like oil entering his bones.

May this curse be like a covering garment for him, like a belt he always wears.

This is the retribution that my adversary and those who speak ill of me have received from the Lord.

O Lord GOD, be kind to me for your name. Because of your love and beauty, please rescue me.

Because I am poor and impoverished, my heart is hurt.

I gradually slanted away like a shadow of the sun. I am shaken out like a locust.

I have weak knees due to fasting; The meat on my body is gradually becoming thinner.

I was humiliated by them. They shook their heads when they saw me.

O Lord my God, help me, save me according to your mercy.

Let them know that this is your hand and that you, the Lord, have done it.

Allow them to curse. May you bless me. When they arise, they will be ashamed, but your servants will rejoice.

May my adversary wear shame. May they cover themselves with their shame as a robe.

I will give strong thanks to the Lord with my mouth. I want to praise him among everyone.

For he will stand on the right side of the poor, to save him from those who judge his soul.
