psalm_Chapter 7
David sang a wandering song to the Lord in the words of Cush the Benjamite. O Lord my God, I have taken refuge in you. Please rescue me from all those who pursue me and pull me out.
I’m afraid they’ll tear me apart like lions, even to the point of tearing me apart without anyone to rescue me.
O Lord my God, if I do this thing, and if iniquity is in my hand,
If I repay those who are good friends with me with evil, even those who are against me without reason, I will save them,
Let the enemy pursue me until they catch up. Tread my life to the ground, turning my glory to dust. (Fine pull)
Arise in anger, O Lord, stand up and resist the wrath of my enemies. Please rise up for me. You have been ordered to carry out the trial.
May the assembly of all the people surround you. May you return to your high position from above.
The Lord judges all the people. Lord, judge me according to my righteousness and the purity of my heart.
May the evil of the wicked be cut off. May you establish a righteous person. Because the righteous God tests the hearts, intestines, and innermost organs of men.
God is my shield. He saves the upright in heart.
God is a righteous judge and a God who is angry with the wicked every day.
If someone doesn’t turn back, their knife will sharpen. The bow must be strung and ready.
He also prepared murder equipment. He fired a rocket.
Let’s see the wicked toil with their wickedness. What is conceived is poison, what is born is falsehood.
He dug a pit and went deeper, only to fall into the trap he had dug.
His poison will come upon his own head. His rape will fall on his own head.
I will give thanks to the Lord according to his righteousness, and sing praises to the name of the Lord Most High.
