Galatians_Chapter 3

O ignorant Galatians, Jesus Christ, who has been crucified alive before your eyes, has deceived you again?

I only need to ask you this question: Did you receive the Holy Spirit by doing the law? Is it because of listening to the gospel?

Have you entered through the Holy Spirit, yet are you still fulfilled through the flesh? Are you so ignorant?

Are you suffering so much in vain? Is it really in vain?

Is he who gave you the Holy Spirit and performed miracles among you because you practiced the law? Is it because you believe in the gospel?

Just as Abraham believed in God, this was considered his righteousness.

So you should know that those who are based on faith are the descendants of Abraham.

And since the Bible foresaw that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, he had already preached the gospel to Abraham, saying, All nations will be blessed in you.

It is evident that those who are based on faith are blessed together with the confident Abraham.

Anyone who takes the practice of the law as their foundation is cursed. For it is written in the scriptures that whoever does not always do all the things written in the book of the law is cursed.

It is evident that no one is justified before God by the law. For it is said in the scripture that the righteous shall be born by faith.

The law is not based on faith, but only says that whoever does these things will live by them.

Since Christ has been cursed for us, he has redeemed us from the curse of the law. Because it is written in the scripture that anyone who hangs on wood is cursed.

This is called the blessing of Abraham, because Christ Jesus can come to the Gentiles, so that we may receive the promised Holy Spirit through faith.

Brothers, as the saying goes, although it is a human covenant, if it has already been established, there is nothing that can be invalidated or added.

The promise was made to Abraham and his descendants. God is not referring to many people, but to one of your descendants, referring to one person, which is Christ.

This is what I say: The covenant that God has made in advance cannot be invalidated by the law that comes after four hundred and thirty years, making the promise void.

For if the inheritance is based on the law, it is not based on promises. But God gave Abraham an inheritance through his promise.

So, why does the law exist? It was added for the sake of sin, waiting for the promised offspring to come. And it was established through the hand of the angel’s mediator.

But the principle of breaking even is not made for one side. God is one.

So, is the law against God’s promise? Definitely not. If there was ever a law that could give life to people, then righteousness truly came from the law.

But the Bible confines everyone in sin, so that the promised blessings may belong to those who believe in Jesus Christ.

But by faith, we will be kept under the law until the truth of the future is revealed.

In this way, the law is our mentor who leads us to Christ, so that we may be justified by faith.

But because of the belief in salvation, since we have arrived, we will no longer be under the master’s command.

Therefore, by believing in Christ Jesus, you are all sons of God.

You who were baptized into Christ are all clothed with Christ.

There is no distinction between Jews, Greeks, free spirited, enslaved, or male or female. Because you have all become one in Christ Jesus.

You belong to Christ, the descendants of Abraham, and have inherited the inheritance according to the promise.
