I have put all these things to my heart and thoroughly studied them, and I know that the righteous and wise, and their works, are in the hands of God. Whether it’s love or hate, they are all ahead of them, and people cannot know.

Everything that comes to everyone is the same. Both the righteous and the wicked suffer the same thing. Good people, clean people, and unclean people, as well as those who offer sacrifices and those who do not. As good people are, so are sinners. How about those who swear, and how about those who are afraid to swear.

In all things that are done under the sun, there is one calamity, that is, all things that come upon everyone are the same. And the hearts of people are filled with evil. When I was alive, my heart was arrogant, but later I went back to the dead.

Those who are connected to all living beings still have hope. Because a living dog is stronger than a dead lion.

The living know they will die. A dead person knows nothing. They will no longer receive rewards, and their names will not be remembered.

Their love, their hatred, and their jealousy have long been eliminated. In everything they do under the sun, they will never again have a share.

Just go and enjoy your meal. Drink your wine with joy in your heart. Because God has accepted your actions.

Your clothes were often pure white at that time. Don’t lack cream on your head either.

In the days of emptiness throughout your life, which God has given you under the sun, live happily with your beloved wife. Because that was the portion you received in your labor under the sun during your lifetime.

Whatever you do with your hands, do your best. Because in the underworld where you must go, there is no work, no planning, no knowledge, and no wisdom.

I turned my mind and saw that under the sun, those who run fast may not win, those who fight hard may not win, those who are wise may not receive food, those who are wise may not receive wealth, and those who are clever may not receive joy. What matters to everyone is the opportunity at that time.

Originally, people didn’t know their own schedule. Fish are caught by evil nets, birds are caught by nets, and when disaster suddenly strikes, people fall into it, and so it is.

I have seen a wisdom under the sun, but to me it is vast,

There was a small city with a sparse population, and a great king came to attack, built a fortress, and besieged the city.

There was a poor wise man in the city who saved the city with his wisdom, but no one remembered the poor man.

I said, wisdom is better than courage. However, the wisdom of the poor is despised, and no one listens to his words.

It is better to listen to the words of the wise in silence than to the cries of the rulers of fools.

Wisdom is better than weapons of war. But a sinner can corrupt many good deeds.
